Opening day for 2011 was quite the blowout. But it did look like about 4 or 5 charter boats went out today from the Rod and Reel in Chesapeake Beach, MD.

I spoke with Captain Tim on the Perseverance. He fished the CR bouy and managed about 12 fish. They lost quite a few at boat side trying to land them, but did manage a few over the rail for their party. Most of the other charters that went out did boat a few fish.

These pictures show the rough conditions out of Chesapeake Beach. Conditions are flooded at Marina West and Rod n Reel with boats being tossed around and waves crashing over bulk head and jetty.
