The 2nd Annual Rockfish Shootout at Coltons Point Marina will be held May 15-16th, 2010. Entries are limited this year to 75 boats – so get in quickly before registration is full. The registration fee is $225 per boat ($250 after April 9th) and the tournament is for amateur fisherman only. The net proceeds go to benefit the Seventh District Optimist Club, a Non-Profit organization that provides services and assistance to children in St. Mary's County.

The Tournament Particulars are as follows:

• Captains Meeting – Friday, May 14th, 2010 from 7:00 - 9:00pm
  
• 1st Day Fishing – Saturday, May 15th, 2010
  • Check-In: 6:30-7:00am
  • Line In: 7:00am
  • Weigh In: Entrance of St. Patrick's Creek by 4:00pm
  • Party Starts at 4:00pm
    • Full Dinner (each boat receives 3 comp. dinners)
    • Band – Six Gun South
    • Beverages – Beer & Soda
    • Rain or Shine under the tent
      
• 2nd Day Fishing – Sunday, May 16th, 2010
  • Check-In: 6:30-7:00am
  • Line In: 7:00am
  • Weigh In: Entrance of St. Patrick's Creek by 4:00pm
  • Awards – 5:30pm

• Heaviest Overall Rockfish
  (Each OTME is $50 and will be dispersed at 80% to the winner and 20% to the Seventh District Optimist Club/Tournament Administration. The disbursements will happen at the time the awards are presented.)
• Teen Tourney (16 & under) – Heaviest Fish Over the 2 Days of the Event: $100 Winner
